GENERALITY

 

The system is made up of a band of cladding suitable for the fire protection of air conditioning ducts, steel and copper pipes, cables raceways and fire stop air locks.

Made up of two sheets, both of a 400 g/m2 high temperature fibers fabric, one of them is covered with aluminum foil. Inside there is a 1 mm alkaline earthy silicate paper sheet, which is between two layers of ecological bio-soluble felt (128 kg/cm) for high temperature and edged with spun teflon glass.

FUNCTIONALITY

KM-FC120COVER.

 

For the fire protection of the air conditioning ducts in fire risk areas. KM-FC120COVER protective band is 1200 mm wide and 30 mm thick, supplied in rolls of 5 meters (6 m²). The protection is made up of a layer of Cover wrapped around the ducts.

The longitudinal joints overlap by 200 mm, the perimeter joint overlap by 600 mm for 1000x500 mm duct; the joints are covered with adhesive aluminum tape KM-ALU.

All overlaps are fixed by a fibers fabric belt KM-CGH

 

KM-FC180COVER.

 

For the fire protection of the air locks, copper and steel pipes, cables raceways in fire risk areas and crossings. KM-FC180COVER protective band is 1200 mm wide and 30 mm thick, supplied in rolls of 5 meters (6 m²). The protection is made up of a layer of Cover wrapped around the system and fixed with iron wire.

The joints overlap by about 50 mm, and covered with adhesive aluminum tape KM-ALU.

All overlaps are fixed by a fibers fabric belt KM-CGH.
