COMPARTMENTING AND FIRE PROOFING SEALINGS
FIRE RESISTANT BAG SYSTEM
FOR CABLES RACEWAYS
KM-FPB

GENERALITY
KM-FPB are fire-resistant bags to seal cable raceways. Allow easy and quick removal, addition and replacement operations of electric cables. The bags can be removed and replaced on site with ease.
DESCRIPTION
The wrapper of the bags is made up of a fireproof mineral fibre textile, filled with a compound of basaltic rock fibres with thermo-expanding additives that under the effect of heat increase in volume, sealing every crack.
FUNCTIONALITY
The passive barrier is made up of KM-FPB bags placed inside the crossing and inside the blank of cable raceways.
The material within the bags expands under heat, moulding in a mass which seals any crack in the compartment against gases, smoke and fire.
